Ingredients
Serves 4-6
1lb (454g) shortcrust pastry
8 large plums
4oz (113g) marzipan
Beaten egg and milk
Cinnamon
Brown sugar
Method
Roll out your pastry thinly and cut into squares.
Stone your plums and replace the stone with a good large lump of marzipan.
Put the plums in the centre of the pastry squares and fold in the corners to make a plum parcel.
Place them in a well-greased dish and brush with beaten egg and milk and scatter well
with cinnamon and brown sugar.
Bake at 220ÂșC for 25 minutes. |
